  • Sita Gumpha

Sita Gumpha is located in the Panchavati area of Nashik and considered one of the best religious places of Nashik. The cave is situated inside a temple. As per Hindu Mythology, Lord Ram, Sita and Laxman lived here during exile.  Opening timing of temple from 6 am to 7 pm. The caves here are very narrow and can be difficult for some people as you need to crawl through to see the caves.

This Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Ram. The temple's name "Kalaram Temple" given from the fact that the colour of the statue of Lord Ram is black. The statutes of Lakshman and Sita are also carved from the same type of stone.

  • Ramkund

On the banks of River Godavari, Ramkund is situated. It is the most famous place of Nashik as the Kumbha Mela takes place every 12 years here. It is believed that Lord Ram has bathed here, hence the name Ramkund. Most Hindus immerse the mortal remains of their relatives here. 

  • Dugarwadi Waterfall
